The Russian Foreign Ministry voiced deep concern over the dangerous escalation, stating that Israel’s military actions against Iran violate the UN Charter and international law. Russia emphasized that the crisis surrounding Iran’s nuclear program should be addressed exclusively through peaceful, political, and diplomatic means, not by military force. Moscow called on all parties to exercise restraint to prevent further escalation and a potential slide into full-scale war.

European Union Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas described the situation as dangerous, urging all sides to exercise restraint and prevent further escalation. She reaffirmed the EU’s readiness to support any diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions.

African Union Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf expressed grave concern over reports of an Israeli airstrike on 100 targets in Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump, in one of his first public comments following Israel’s strikes against Iran, urged Tehran to reach an agreement with the U.S., warning that the consequences of failing to do so could be even more severe. He emphasized that Israel possesses “the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the world” and that further attacks would be much worse than anything Iran anticipates.

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian expressed Beijing’s “deep worry” over the attacks. China opposes any violation of Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, and opposes actions that escalate tensions and expand the conflict. These global calls for restraint underscore the urgent need for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation and prevent a broader regional conflict.
